11th June 1989 was a day of celebration. Two years on from the Marques superb 40 years celebration, another 40th anniversary, this time to celebrate first Ferrari success at Le Mans, the first of so many!

Where better to celebrate than at the famous Sarthe Circuit, with the Cars and their Drivers and what a day it proved to be. Giulio Schmidt as Scribe and Carlo Lenti with the Lens capture the mood of the moment on so many occasions and preserve here for posterity.
