This describes the authors racing before the war at Brooklands and Donington.  It covers a period from acquiring his Douglas motorcycle when living in New Zealand up to racing his Maserati at Brooklands.

172 pages, illustrated with black and white photographic plates. Hardback is in good condition and very clean inside. Very slight scuffing and corner bumping to black boards, very slight looseness to rear cover spine but fully intact . Dustcover is tatty with third loss to front unfortunately, some taping in side. Scarce but priced accordingly.
