The 158 or”Alfetta” raced very successfully in the period 1946 to 1948 and then again between 1950 and 1951 – the first two years of the Formula 1 World Championship. Behind the success lay a darker story of in-house plotting and jealousy between the leading characters at Alfa Romeo including Enzo Ferrari, Vittorio Jano and many others.

Black boards, gilt title to spine. B/w and colour photos. Book is in genrally good condition with a very clean and unmarked dust cover. One or two of the intro pages have slight spotting/marking to edges but not affecting reading.
