Extremely rare original 1938 brochure for the Series 5 BSA Scout, showing two seat, four seat and coupe models, with the the two seater available for £162 ex works! A six page gatefold with additional flap down sections showing the main benefits such as independent front wheel suspension and ‘silent and robust’ gears. Also indicates that the 10 hp engine gives lively acceleration and a high cruising speed.

For it’s age, the brochure is in remarkable condition, inevitably the cream cover shows some marks and scuffs, there is a light pencil addition of date to front cover – inside is very clean with beautiful illustrations in two colour format. Really lovely.
