This outstanding photo history chronicles the exploits of Chaparral sports racers, from Jim Hall’s entry as a driver in the 1950s through the ultimate Can-Am monster, the 2J (sucker car”) constructed for the 1970 season. Friedman’s photography takes you onto the tracks, into the pits, and inside the Chaparral race shops. Filled with extensive quotes from Hall and many of his drivers, including Roger Penske, Phil Hill, Sam Posey, and others.

Hardback in  good condition, very slight browning to some page edges. Dust cover clean and in good condition.
