This book entitled ‘Davids diary’ records details of thrilling wheel-to-wheel battles from the perspective of the cockpit of his West McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 car.
Coulthard gives his readers a privileged view of the machinations behind his controversial decision to allow team mate and eventual champion Mika Hakkinen overtake him on the final lap of the season’s first race in Australia.
