What becomes clear in this compilation is the large number of selected body builders who are responsible for the recognition of Maybach vehicles with their own designs. Spohn was the “house and court purveyor”, but Erdmann & Rossi, Wendler, Auer, Neuss, Papler, Autenrieth and even Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH also delivered extraordinary examples whose interpretation allowed the zeitgeist to flow into the luxury brand.
The huge pool of historical vehicle images, with informative, contemporary and entertaining explanations and images, is impressive. All text in German.
