Although probably more famous for his horse racing prowess he also distinguished himself in early motor racing in Europe and America, complete in Paris-Berlin race, the Gordon Bennett in Ireland 1903 and in early Vanderbilt Cup races in the US.
Illustrated with a colored frontispiece of Foxhall Keene by Richard B. Adam plus 13 pages of plates from photographs and drawings.
Hardback in generally good condition, inside is clean, light browning in places but otherwise very good. Outer boards fair, have bumping to corners, scuffing and rubbing to spine edges and some marking and spotting in places.
