Description

Drawing on 14 years of work from the author, this book gives a complete overview of motorsports history and is also illustrated with more than 400 of the author’s own drawings representing all the cars from all the significant teams from Formula One since 1950.

This allows the reader to see at a glance the evolution of all the Williams cars, for example, since the creation of the team. This eight-kilo, two-volume box-set also features more than 1200 photographs, some of them exclusives from the collection of Bernard Cahier, the famous 50’s photographer.

In its last section, the book gives comprehensive results of all the Grand Prixs in the history of Formula One, from 1950 until 2003. It features all the lap charts of the races – despite the fact that the FIA (the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) itself thought that these lap charts did not exist before 1958.

The second edition is entirely updated after the end of the 2003 season and in France, where the book is in its fourth edition, it won the Grand Prix de Livre from the Automobile Festival of Chamonix.

Two volume hardbacks in slip cover – in excellent near fine condition.
