Description
French publication, hardback small format profiling all the production and race vcars produced by Jaguar with stunning photos from Xavier de Nombel. French text by Bernard Viart.
From the French: “Jaguar”, this magical name, appeared in 1935. From this date, and even a little earlier, thanks to the success achieved by the SS One in 1931, the firm founded by William Lyons in 1922 went from triumph to triumph. Three of its models can be considered “immortal”: the XK, available between 1948 and 1960 in three versions, XK 120, XK 140 and XK 150, then the Mark II, between 1959 and 1968, and, finally, the Type E , with series 1, 2 and 3 V12, between 1961 and 1975. This book traces, in more than one hundred photographs, this extraordinary industrial and sporting adventure, from 1931 to 2006, date of release of the very last Jaguar: the XK.
Hardback in generally good condition, very clean nad bright inside. Boarded self cover has one or two scuffs and bumps but generally good.
