Stirling recounts the build up to the 59 Le Mans and the race itself. Fabulous black and white photographs by Maxwell Boyd throughout. Hardback first edition 1959. Interior in generally good condition. This book had a tendency for page sticking – some evidence of internal tears in places but fully readable and now turning freely.  External black boards, some small marks and bumping to corners, otherwise sound. Dust cover is in excellent condition for age, one or two minor scuffs and tears on rear, now protected with a clear protective cover.
