Bob Gerard was a British motor racer, coming from a mechanical background, as his family business was in the motor market with the rise of popularity in cars in the early 20th century.
He bought his first facing car towards the end of the Second World War, and used his engineering skills to bring new life to the car. He competed in eight Formula One Grand Prix, as well as winning various other international competitions.
Graham Gauld is a motoring journalist and photographer, who has always been passionate about motor racing, and had written many books about famous motor racers.
