Description

In 1954 a Porsche chased glory in the Carrera Panamericana in Mexico. After the race Porsche took the name Carrera and it brought glory and fame to the firm from Stuttgart, until the greatest of them all was made in 1972 – it was the 911 Carrera RS – the result of radical thinking and led to a new line of high-performance cars that established the 911 series in the forefront of Grand Touring cars.
