Description
Produced in post war Britain to celebrate the fifty years of the Club’s existence, whilst looking forward to better times ahead. The War was over but rationing and austerity Motoring were at their peak. No good placing an order for a new car as apart from priority customers such as Doctor’s all the new cars were earmarked for the export drive. Unless you had the necessary contacts and abundance of cash to purchase at inflated rates on the black market. 200 large pages capturing the highlights of the first fifty years.
No jacket, Gilt emboss to blue cloth coverboards. Some sunning to spine. Inside clean, some minor foxing to early page or two and browning to page edges in places. Owners name to inside page. Fascinating history of the organisation.
