Description

1957 ‘Handy Series’ edition of the famous book about racing a Healey Silverstone sportscar in the early 50s by ex Brooklands racer Charley Mortimer.

He and his wife ran their car at places like Goodwood, Blandford, Silverstone and in assorted speed trials with considerable success against Connaughts Frazer Nashes and Jaguar XK120s.

Inside the book is very clean and well bound. Exterior black and yellow boards are grubby with some scuffs to spine. Good readable copy however.
