Bruce Dowell’s first book, published in 2004, is about the Sunbeam Motor Car Company of Wolverhampton, England and the motor cars they made.

Their first car was made in around 1899 and the last Sunbeam to be manufactured in Wolverhampton was in 1935. During this time almost 30,000 vehicles were produced, made up of more than forty different models.

This book is an appraisal of these models, what the differences are and how to tell them apart. The author has used more than 500 black and white images, 50,000 words and 40 years association with Sunbeams to tell this story.
