Description

To the true Vintage enthusiast 1930 was the last year that his class of motor-car was made. Shortly afterwards, early in the thirties, A. J. S., Beverley, Chenard Walcker, Delaunay Belleville, Essex and Franklin to mention just a few were among dozens of names that ceased to exist.

These cars together with 72 other makes exhibited at Olympia in 1930. The 1930 London Motor Show and Paris Salon contains two contemporary reports of each show and is illustrated by more than twelve hundred photographs and drawings of the cars, accessories and equipment.

For the older enthusiast this book is sheer nostalgia, Rovers selling at under £200, Morris exhibiting five different models and cars he just remembers described and illustrated by the experts of the day; for the younger enthusiast the Crossley six-wheel saloon, the double eight Bucciali and the ten seater Bernard Saloon are cars the like of which are not in production today.

Hardback in very good condition, clean and bright with good maroon boards. Dust cover also good some slight marking in places and some small scuffs to spine edges, slight sunning to spine. Really good example.
