Description

Written by one of the most respected authorities of our subject, we start with Napier and its build up to success in the Gordon Bennett Trophy Race of 1902, we look at the beautiful lines of the Wolseley “Beetle’s” the early Vauxhall, Sunbeam, Bentley, ERA and post-war the Connaught’s, BRM, Aston-Martin, Jaguar,Vanwall & the Cooper.

Many others are included, the people behind the successes and the failures.

In support of some of the finest photos available are the magnificent line drawings of John Dunscombe. Cyril Posthumus gives us all the technical aspects required, yet keeps the story alive and very readable.

Hardback in very good condition, clean and bright throughout. Dust cover also good, some minor scuffs to edges, couple of very minor tear/losses to rear but otherwise bright. In protective clear cover.
