Description

1910 first edition hardback in good condition. Maroon boarded covers, with gilt text and illustration to front and spine. Very clean, some bumping to corners. Believed to be an author’s presentation copy – inscribed to “Sir Walter Fenner Bart, with the authors compliments” – although not signed.  Some foxing to early pages and intermittently on other pages but generally clean and tightly bound. Complete with fold out maps and illustrations. Nice copy.
