GRAND PRIX RACING 1959-1967. The skill, the beauty, the thrill and the ever-present danger of Grand Prix motor racing. What it is and why men do it.
A rare and sought after 1963 First Edition Hardback complete with dust wrapper. (1965 later reprint editions (and 2005) often wrongly catalogued as firsts!).
The author captures the excitement and beauty of Grand Prix motor racing, together with the thoughts and fears of the drivers and their relatives, the dangers and skill of the sport. Fabulous array of black and white photographs throughout. A thoughtful and poignant look at the perils of sixties motor racing when so many perished. Definitely a must for a serious motorsport library.

Now in oprotective clear cover The book itself is in very good, clean condition throughout and tightly bound. Very slight browning to some page edges.
Very scarce. And fabulous!
