Description
Large Volume of 389 pages charting the era 1950-77 in New Zealand motor racing when it gave the world Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme, Chris Amon, Howden Ganley and a host of other fine drivers and race engineers who made a name for themselves internationally in the 60s and 70s.
Also it played host to the European big names (Moss, Hill, Clark, Stwerat etc) in the Tasman series and other international events during the European ‘off-season’.
Lots of great events covered on circuits as diverse as the Dunedin round-the-streets circuit and the bleak Ardmore airfield. Much F1 and F5000 interest.
Hardback in very good condition, slight foxing to page edges and rear of jacket, some minor bumping and marking to cream boards but otherwise clean and bright. Dust jacket good, some minor sunning to spine, small tear to inside flap now repaired.
Scarce book.
