Description
Produced to coincide with the Centenary of the First Lanchester Car, this book represents Vol. 1 of a trilogy and covers the company’s car production throughout Veteran, Edwardian & Vintage days.
Lanchester was always an innovator, creating numerous ways of doing somthing that we now take for granted (the thruttle pedal being one) and this resulted in a mass of patents for car design which kept the idiosyncratic maker alive until the merger with Daimler in the 50s.
Hardback in good condition with a clean bright dust cover.
