Description

A History of its Development and Production 1932-1935. Riley Register Series Vol 5.

**Signed by Robin Cameron.**

The author Robin Cameron bought his MPH as a young man in 1961 and since then has corresponded with and collected information from many past and present owners of the model.

He begins by summarising the background to Riley’s six-cylinder models in the 1930s, and goes on to recount the erratic history of the Company’s six-cylinder sports cars from their earliest appearance to their final high point in the iconic but very short-lived MPH, while questioning some previously accepted interpretations of Riley history along the way.

Detailed descriptions of the special features of the MPH, a list by chassis number of those produced, commentaries on the MPH’s performance, on the experience of driving one, and on the alleged Italian influence on MPH styling are complemented by individual ‘biographies’ of each of the small number of MPHs ever produced.

Softcover in generally very good conditon throughout – one very minor scuff to bottom corner of front cover.
