From Savannah, Georgia where the 1908 race was held to Long Beach, California, home of the United States Grand Prix, part of the Grand Prix series (Formula 1) which the U. S. hosted from 1959, the book covers year-by-year the contests of men like Bruce McLaren, Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Nikki Lauda and Mario Andretti in machines by BRM, Ferrari, Lotus-Climax, etc.

There are b & w photos throughout, track layouts and a couple maps and starting grid tables for 1959 to 1977 races.

Hardback in very good condition for age. Dust wrapper also clean and bright, one or two scuffs to top of spine.
