Memoirs of a pioneer motorist. Minchin witnessed the Paris-Madrid race in 1903 that brought the end to town-to-town races after numerous fatal accidents, he acted as Best Man to his friend Malcolm Campbell at his first wedding, he owned and drove many wonderful cars from the early Veterans through to Derby Bentley’s in the 40s, watched motor racing at Brooklands and on the continent and seems to have known everyone of interest in the sport.
1950 first edition. Hardback in very good condition. Dust jacket un clipped, a couple of small tears at top of spine and corner but otherwise in good condition.
