It tells the story from his early days in Trinity College, Dublin developing a series of specials for hillclimbs, sprints and races in Ireland to his serious racing in a Frazer Nash winning the Cork International Grand Prix in 1938 and after the war the prestigious Walter Sexton Trophy in 1948. There is an additional chapter at the end telling the story of the use of the car since his death in 1951. It is 236 pages and has 48 photographs and many amusing thumbnail cartoons.
