Description
1963 first edition. Fascinating anthology of eye-witness accounts by drivers and writers of some of the classic motor races, starting in 1902 with a British Napier win at the Gordon Bennett International Trophy race to Stirling Moss on Le Mans 24. Articles by Jarrott, Segrave, Birkin, Prince Chula, Fangio, Frere and Hawthorn. A real treat of a read.
Arthur Barker Ltd. Hardcover in good condition, minor foxing to page edges but otherwise very clean. No dust jacket but blue boards are very good, minor scuffs and marks, slight sunning to spine. A good example of this well regarded book.
