Very rare, early study the design of motor cars from 1910, written by James Gunn, Lecturer in Motor Car Engineering at the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical college.

Looks at all aspects of motor car development, from chassis, framesaxles, through to cylinders, pistons and valves, crank and cam shafts, radiators, exhausts carburettors and ignition etc.

Complete with black and white illustrations throughout.

Hardback in generally very good condition for age, green boards are clean, some minor bumping to corners and spine edges, slight clolour loss to top edges in places.

Inside some light browning to blank inside and back cover, with previous owner name inscribed. Very slight foxing/spotting to some page edges only. Pages are clean and unmarked throughout. A very good example of a rare book.
